Grayshroom Realm Guild Guide
By Azu
Key Points to Remember
- Event Duration: Grayshroom starts every Friday (same time as daily reset) and ends every Thursday at 21:00 — Game time: UTC+0.
- Challenge Regeneration: You gain 1 challenge every 2 hours. This counter only starts after you join the Grayshroom Realm following the weekly reset.
- Max Attack Stacks: You can stack up to 20 attacks. If you reach the max, additional attacks won’t regenerate, so make sure to use your attacks daily to support your guild.
- Weekly Reset: After the reset, challenges are set back to 8. Challenges cannot be carried over to the next week.
Purchasing Guild Attacks for Diamonds
- The first 6 attacks cost 50 diamonds per attempt.
- The remaining 4 attacks cost 100 diamonds each.
- It’s recommended to purchase only 6 attacks unless your guild requires all 10 for higher competition.
- Seasonal Content: Grayshroom is influenced by seasonal mechanics, including Hope Tree buffs, synergies, and other seasonal events.
- Seasonal Rewards: Each season has 8 weeks of Grayshroom challenges. After 8 weeks, seasonal rewards are given based on the tier your guild achieves.
Be consistent with your attacks and coordinate with your guild to maximize rewards and progress through the seasonal content.
Tracking Guild Member Activity in Grayshroom
To effectively monitor which members have used their daily attacks and how many attempts they’ve purchased, follow these guidelines:
- Timing for Daily Check: It’s best to check member activity 1-2 hours before the daily reset, giving members approximately 22 hours each day to complete their required attacks.
- Weekly Check Timing: To see the results before the weekly reset, make sure to check activity at 20:00 UTC+0 on the last day (Thursday) before tallying begins. During the tallying period, which starts shortly after this time, results will be locked and cannot be checked.
By following this routine, you can ensure guild members are actively participating and meet daily and weekly contribution goals. This tracking process is essential for guilds aiming for high performance and rewards in Grayshroom.
Skill Descriptions and Tips
Mindpower
- Effect: Target another guild to boost its members, allowing them to deal 1.5x more damage in their next 3 attacks/sweeps.
- Usage: Typically used between sister or coalition (ally) guilds. Trading boosts with allies can help your guild surpass competitors by increasing damage output against bosses.
- Tip: Coordinate with allied guilds to maximize efficiency and ensure mutual benefits.
Calamity Reborn
- Effect: Revives a boss killed by another guild, restoring 15% of its HP. This skill can only be used once per chapter.
- Usage: Best used against enemy guilds to hinder their progress by reviving bosses they’ve defeated. Avoid using it on ally guilds.
- Tip: This skill requires careful tracking of enemy guild progress to use effectively. Timing is crucial—wait until an enemy guild is close to killing a boss to maximize disruption. It’s also suggested that you don’t kill bosses 1 by 1 above chapters 23~ but rather leave them all at 1 or 2 hits from death (by tracking the % HP done) and then once all 4 bosses are close to be killed, you can finish them off quickly – leaving opponents less time to use this skill against you.
Gift of Time
- Effect: Grants all guild members 1 additional attack. This skill stacks up to a maximum of 80 additional attacks across the entire 8-week season, and does not reset each week.
- Usage: Since you can only stack up to 30 extra attacks as a cap, you have to plan these uses carefully. Spread them out strategically and reserve them for when your guild needs an extra push (just keep in mind that you won’t get additional 10 if you’re at 30!), such as during critical battles or competitive chapters, or just use them so you can gain additional 10 next week instead of losing them.
- Tip: Notify guild members (using a ping or message) before activating this skill, ideally 24 hours in advance, so everyone has enough time to make use of the extra attack. Make sure to check that members are aware and ready to use the attacks as needed.
Damage Optimization with Buffs
Buff Priority: DMG Boost > Crit Res. Rate / Crit Rate > Everything else.
Note: If survivability becomes an issue after a certain chapter prioritize 100 Regen Relic / Healing Vase -> Blades of Chaos -> Tyr.
Attack Protocol
- Wait for Buffs: Do not attack bosses until all essential buffs are acquired. Focus on reducing all bosses to 60-70% HP before fully engaging for optimal damage output.
- Buff-Specific Attacks: Only prioritize buffs for relevant synergies. For example, if there’s no Bjorn, skip CURE RATE buffs since they only benefit Mystifiers.
Buff Effect
- Each buff at 100% increases the ATK of the respective synergy. Example: 100% Dodge Rate [Avengers] translates to a 100% ATK boost for Dodge-based heroes (for 12* heroes; lower star heroes get about half this benefit — Also not true for all heroes, best to check their 11 and 12* Stat conversion).
This is only valuable for beginners, as most players are over-killing the bosses anyway so buffs don’t matter that much.
Being top for damage does not mean you’re the most useful or best member of the guild. Damage alone is irrelevant, especially for those who first have to acquire buffs so the guild can achieve maximum damage. These players sacrifice some of their own damage output for the greater benefit. Additionally, since damage is RNG-based, being the top in damage doesn’t necessarily reflect effectiveness or contribution to the guild’s goals.
