OverMortal - Ability Guide (Magika and Corpo)

Your lost for VB? Let me give you some little advices about how to have a powerful ability build.

Guide to Abilities

First thing first, this build is made for the average player, top whale can adapt it with time for something stronger made for mass murder.

In each case, you will have a mid tier build, and a final VB build.

Magika

Final VB Build

Tonitrius – Tonitrius Metal – Blizzard – wind walker – dragon taming water – Phantasm.

Mid VB Build

You will change little by little all your abilities with higher tier abilities. higher the lvl, higher the damage and BR.

At first you should have

Tonitrius (max) – Blizzard (max, but prio for the others first) – windwalker (max) – dragon taming (lvl 50) – Pyrokinesis (65) – another trash tier ability, you can choose this one as you want.

Progress

You will start to replace trash tier ability with tonitrius Metal (Max).
You can equip all abilities of the same type at the same time.
Then replace Dragon taming by Dragon Taming Water. (lvl : enough to unlock Purify).
When you have everything to the max, unlock Phantasm. When he is high level enough, replace Pyrokinesis by Phantasm.
At that time i have Phantasm lv29, i still use Pyrokinesis.

Corpo

Its complicate

Final VB Build

You can equip all abilities of the same type at the same time. higher the lvl, higher the damage and BR

Pvp Build (stay alive build)

You will Use shields.
Asura Slash Wood – Asura’s Slash – Asura’s Slash Water – Spiritual Wall – Windwalker
Hail of sword/Demon trap (you need to reset for demon trap / You can also replace windwalker by dragon taming water if you have TONS of citrine).

Pve Build (realm farm)

You will not Use shields.
Asura Slash Wood – Asura’s Slash – Asura’s Slash Water – Anything (dmg) with the highest lvl/dps. x2. – Demon’s Trap/Hail of sword.

Mid VB Build

Same thing as final vb build with shields, replaced by dmg abilities.

Rest is that

Asura Slash Wood – Asura’s Slash – Asura’s Slash Water – Hail of swords.

Progress

To have the highest damage possible and respect this build you can reset your abilities completely, once you can get 190k/200k citrine, to switch Hail of swords for Demon trap if you want to.

For mid vb build you go vanilla, unlock everything.

Once you can get enough from the reset, you can stop using Hail of Sword if you want, and everything in the right side of mortal world abilities. Invest in left side to unlock Demon’s Trap.

In the long run, you could unlock dragon taming water, according to Taiyi.

General advice

Get Immortal’s Will to lv5. Mortal world abilities are seen as PvE, because the immortal’s will reduce greatly the effects of the mortal worlds abilities.
