Death in Terminus
By Jiraki.
There are two phases related to death in Pantheon.
Downed
The downed condition occurs when your character runs out of hitpoints and your hitpoints bar will turn purple. Your character will fall to the ground, slowing losing hitpoints, and be able to crawl slowly (at the cost of more rapid hitpoint loss).
- When in the downed state, another player can perform First Aid to (over time) remove the Downed condition. To perform first aid, be close to the player and right click on them.
- You can also be healed by another player to remove the Downed condition.
- When your character transitions to the Downed state, any heal or damage over time spells will be removed. This is intentional.
Death
If you continue to take damage while in the downed state, you will die. Once you are dead, you are presented with a ‘Release’ button to return to your bind point.
- You will respawn at your bind point with all of your equipped items.
- All of your inventory and coin will be left on your corpse.
- Starting at level 5 you will lose 5% of your level when you die.
- If you don’t have 5% of the level when you die, you will de-level.
Bind Stones
You can bind at bind stones throughout the world. This is where you will respawn after death. Click on a bind stone to change your bind point to this location. An image of a bindstone is shown below.
Resurrection
In Pantheon, a player can cast a resurrection spell on a corpse to recover some experience.
Dragging Corpses
If you wish to drag a corpse (for example, to a safer location or to someone who can resurrect), target the corpse and use the /drag command. If the corpse is not your own the player will be prompted with a consent dialog.
