Project QT – Guide to Team Setups for Invasion Bosses

Team Setups for Invasion Bosses

Summary of the optimal team setups to challenge the Invasion bosses. Those are designed for the larger audience, players who have a decently built roster: they offer optimized offense for just enough survival to sustain damage until 40 rounds.

If you lack too many girls or they don’t have enough stars/promotions (in particular for Venus, Evelyn and Alberta), you will probably be unable to survive until 40 rounds and Sports or Science may provide better results than fielding one more Art. In those kinds of cases, we cannot really suggest any universal solution, since it highly depends on your roster. So try to get as close as possible to the optimal setups and toy around to find your good setup.

Important notes

  1. Girls with a multitarget skill will hit only one of the 2/3 targets, so if you use damage buffers, make sure that those girls with multitarget skills hit the boss with their regular attack instead of their skill.
  2. The girl in spot 1 will usually be the one suffering from debuffs the least, so if you cannot build the suggested setups, using that spot for your strongest girl or Alberta (depending on the boss) will usually provide better results.

Water boss

The optimal setups without built talent trees:

  1. x/y/Evelyn (or Venus)/Alberta (min. 3 stars)
  2. x/Reislin (or Jessie)/Alberta (min. 5 stars)/y
  3. Alberta (1 star)/x/Evelyn (or Venus)/y

Where x and y = Your strongest lightning attackers.

The main idea of those setups is to either cleanse the Fear effect or prevent the boss from applying that debuff, while making sure that attacker X gets the highest probability to attack.

If you have Juliana with a maxed talent, you can skip Evelyn and use a non-Lightning buffer (ideally Summer Ladies, Halloween Witches or Vivian).

Fire boss

The optimal setups without built talent trees:

  1. Alberta/Caroline/Una/Elva
  2. Alberta/x/(Venus or Evelyn)/y
  3. Alberta/x/Jodie/y => you will probably not survive, but at least you deal maximum damage if you don’t have a proper Venus/Evelyn

Where x and y = Your strongest Water attackers.

The main idea of those setups is to either outheal the boss’es burn or cleanse it quickly, while preventing her from blocking your regular attacks.

For those who have an awakened Summer Ladies and very strong girls: Caroline/SL/Una/Elva

Wind boss

  1. Alberta/Freya/Giselle/Venus
  2. Alberta/x/Venus/y

Where x and y = Your strongest Fire attackers. Note that Christina cannot deal any damage to the boss with her skill and that Giselle cannot burn her.

The main idea of those setups is to cleanse the poison quickly enough to not die before round 40, while preventing her from blocking your skills.

Lightning boss

  1. x/buffer/H/y
  2. x/(Reislin or Jessie)/Alberta/(Venus or Evelyn), if your Wind units are bad overall

Where x and y = Your strongest Wind attackers.

Where H is either Haley or your 3rd strongest attacker.

Where buffer is, from the best to the worst: Sylvia/Alice/Vivian/Clara (Halloween Witches doesn’t work here)

The main idea of those setups is to either deal maximum damage while praying that your damage dealers don’t get paralyzed too often, or to prevent the boss from stunning your girls at the cost of having only one Wind attacker.

If her talent is unlocked, Clara will increase significantly the effectiveness of your team. She is best used in the first setup in spot 3 in stead of Haley. In that case, the buffer should be non-Wind to make sure that all of the 3 Wind girls are well protected.
