Ragnarok Origin: ROO – Response Error [Fixed]

How to Fix Response Error

PC

Open Network Connections:

  • Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box. Then, type “ncpa.cpl” and hit Enter. This will open the Network Connections window.

Access Network Adapter Properties:

  • Right-click on your network adapter and select “Properties” from the context menu.

Configure Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4):

  • In the Properties window, locate and highlight “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” from the list. Then, click the “Properties” button below the list.

Specify DNS Server Addresses:

  • In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select the option that says “Use the following DNS server addresses.” Enter “1.1.1.1” in the “Preferred DNS server” field.

Optional: Replace Existing Addresses:

  • If there are already DNS server addresses specified, you can replace them with “1.1.1.1” and “1.0.0.1” (alternate DNS server for redundancy), or you can try obtaining them automatically.

Disable IPv6:

  • After changing the Internet Protocol Version 4 settings, you may also want to disable IPv6 for consistency. To do this, simply un-check the box next to “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” in the list of network adapters.

Save Changes:

  • Click “OK” to save the changes and close all windows.

By following these steps, you’ll successfully change your DNS settings to use 1.1.1.1. Don’t forget to disable IPv6 if you choose to do so!
