Reus 2 – Known Issues and How to Fix Them

Known Issues Guide

Setting ground texture quality to Medium or High can make the game run slower. If this happens, change it to Low or Abysmal.

In Space Age, some players have seen a city’s Technology stat drop to a big negative number like -100 or -700 after the first cutscene. If you see this, please use the F11 report tool to share your Player.log. Saving and reloading your planet should fix it.

Some achievements don’t work right:

  • The 1/2/3 star Turning points achievements happen when you finish the Ancient Era Turning points with that many stars. They don’t count the other eras.
  • The 1/2/3 star Turning points achievements show a star icon in the game, but have special icons on Steam.
  • The “Complete 10 planets with the XXX giant” achievements unlock after 5 planets, not 10.
  • The 2/3 star Castle Age achievement icons are missing stars and silver/gold colors.
  • The 2/3 star achievement icons show a star on Steam, but look different in-game.
  • The Miner is missing achievements for finishing a planet and getting 300 points.
  • The Neolithic Revolution on Giant Difficulty achievement might not unlock if you did Neolithic Revolution on Relaxing difficulty first.
  • The Can’t Touch This achievement for using 10 Toxic biotica and the Magpie achievement for 10 Gem biotica can unlock even if you didn’t do what they asked.

The F11 bug report tool only works when you’re on the planet.

Cutscenes at the end of an era or intermezzo can get stuck. If this happens, use F11 to report it or send your Player.log file. You have to use Alt+F4 to close the game and keep playing from your last save.
