On the first anniversary of reverse 1999, we got a free 6-star character, Semmelweis.

Why You Should Build Semmelweis

Semmelweis is a 6-star Mineral Reality character who functions as a Support damage boosting. He provides a powerful buff at the cost of HP in line with she being a vampire.

Design and Lore

As mentioned by Lucy in the 1 Year Anniversary Program, Semmelweis used to be a mixed arcanist before being infected by a Vampire on an on-field mission prior to the events of Echoes in the Mountain.

Insight

Semmelweis insight 1 provide her with +3 moxie so you can use buff and attack skill on round 1 so you have ultimate on round 2. Insight 3 she gains +1 Moxie upon casting her Ultimate, allowing her to comfortably recast her ultimate skill every 3 turns.

Skill You Need To Know

Buff incantation “Effective Means” grants the “Fresh Blood” status to an ally for 2 rounds, then grants dmg dealt to all allies and an additional dmg dealt 10% to an ally in the “Fresh Blood” status for 2 round.

Ultimate skill “And So It Rises Again” all allies lose (current HPx20%) HP. Creates a special array “Blood Domain” for 3 rounds and enter the “Feral Instinct” status for 3 round.

All of these instances of HP drain allow Semmelweis’ teammates to take full advantage of her [Blood Domain] Array. Under “Blood Domain”, allied characters gain DMG Taken Reduction and +5% DMG Bonus for each 10% of their HP they are missing.

During these 3 rounds, “Feral Instinct” causes Semmelweis to cast a mass attack [Truth Revealed] at the end of each round.

Such massive buff based on lost HP and mass attack for each round under blood domain.

Teams

Semmelweis takes advantage of lost HP, the more HP lost the greater the buff and damage caused, so shielder, character who can lose their hp its self or heal based on hp lost will enjoy teams with semmelweis.

Aside from that, Semmelweis is a universally character for players looking to increase their team’s damage in exchange for survivability.
