Sea of Conquest – How the Season Renown Works

Quick Guide to Season Renown System

By Avery.

Here are some additional explanations of the current Renown system. Renown includes Solo Renown and Gang Renown, and you can earn them in the following ways:

Solo Renown

  • Trophies: For every 1,000 Trophies earned, you will receive 1 Solo Renown.
  • Trade: For every 18,000 Gold earned through trading, you will receive 1 Solo Renown.
  • Gang Donation: For every 630 Gang Seals gained, you will receive 1 Solo Renown.
  • Port Attack: For every 5 million damage dealt to declared ports in Riptide Collision, you will receive 1 Solo Renown.
  • Crystal Donation: For every 100k Crystals donated in Riptide Collision, you will receive 1 Solo Renown.

Gang Renown

  • Solo Renown Acquisition: Every time you earn Solo Renown, an equal amount is added to your Gang Renown.
  • Port Renown Duel: After Port Renown Duel ends, the winner takes 20% of the losing Gang’s current Renown.
  • Building Occupation: All the Ports, Sentry Towers, Strongholds, and Checkpoints occupied by your Gang generate Renown at 02:00 (UTC) every Monday.(1) The amount of Renown generated varies with the type and level of buildings.(2) These Renown bonuses are only triggered at 02:00 (UTC) every Monday. Your Gang needs to own the buildings at that time to receive their Renown bonuses for the week.(3) Of all the building types, ports provide the highest Renown. Occupying ports is crucial for a Gang to rank high in the Renown rankings.

Others

  • Renown is a seasonal feature. When the current season ends and you return to the S1 map, your Renown will be cleared. You will start earning it again when the next season starts.
  • After the Renown settlement of the current season, you can still earn more Renown, but it won’t affect your Gang’s ranking anymore.
