Sengoku Dynasty – Guide to Storage

Storage Guide

Main Storages are structures you build (They have their own category in the build menu see screenshot at the end of the post). They are a central repository in your village for items you and your villagers need for use or crafting other items.

There are six types of Storage buildings (each storing specific types of items):

  • Food Storage holds all edible items (Meat, Fish, and Eggs [raw or cooked], plants (even Yellow Chrysanthemum goes here).
  • Water Storage building has barrels that contain water (made by filling Buckets [crafted from Planks at the Woodcutter’s Hut] at a Well), as well as bottles of Sake go in. Energy Drinks go into General Storage.
  • General Storage building for access to certain items like tools, grass, clay, Fur, Ore, Masks, Clothing items, Balm and other general items.
  • Wood Storage building to keep wood items in (Logs, Sticks, Planks, Coal, Bamboo, Straw…)
  • Weapons are stored in the Armory Building.
  • Ice Storage building is for storing ice.

It is important not to confuse the main Storage buildings described above with the Trunks/Chests you find in the Furniture build menu category.

You absolutely must have the needed main storage buildings built initially in every village for your villagers to access items and materials for both consumption and production.

The storages have a finite amount of inventory space (for now?!) and are SHARED among any other “Trunks” you build elsewhere in your village(s).

When you build a Production Building (Woodcutter’s Hut, Smithy, Tailor, etc.) you may want to build a storage TRUNK(s) inside (or on the porch, in the case of the Smithy), so that you do not have to waste time running about the village to collect needed items to craft.

As another example, in the Smithy, a weapon may require Sticks and Straw (Dynasty Wood Storage “Trunk”) as well as Stone (Dynasty General Storage) and the finished item will need Armory Storage to be placed into.

In the same way, the Shed is very handy for the player to have all types of storage “TRUNKS” in it and gain access to all types of items in one place.

Tip: All items show what storage type they belong to.
