How to Backup Your Save Data

Press the Windows key and R at the same time, or find “Run” in the Windows search.
Type “%appdata%” in the Run box and click OK.

A window will open. You’ll be in the “Roaming” folder.
Go back one step to the “AppData” folder by clicking on it.

Open the “Local” folder.
Follow this path: Local -> SilentHill2 -> Saved -> SaveGames -> 76561198809267261

You’ll see all your save files in the 76561198809267261 folder.

Copy all the files in this folder.

Save these copied files somewhere safe, like a USB drive, external hard drive, or even send them to yourself through messaging apps like Telegram, WhatsApp…

How To Use Your Saves on Another Device

Find the folder “76561198809267261” on your new device. Put your save files in this folder. Your saves will then work on the new device. The game has a save limit. Too many saves might cause problems. You can empty the folder before adding your saves to be safe. Don’t empty it if you want to keep the saves already there.
