Combat & Other Mechanics Guide
Fighting only happens in two places right now: the Toy Store and Cemetery Dungeons. Combat doesn’t start until you get close to an enemy or they come near you. You always go first in a fight, before the enemy does.
When a fight begins, you have three choices:
- Attack: You can hit the enemy by completing a timed button press.
- Item: You can use something from your inventory, like a repair kit or milk.
- Escape: You can try to run away by doing a quick timed button press. If you succeed, the fight ends and the enemy goes away.
Combat (Attack) is a QTE where a needle moves along a bar with said bar having red, yellow, and black. Clicking on yellow is a normal attack, red is a critical hit, and black does no damage.
When you attack, if the enemy is still alive, they can do two things on their turn. They can either attack you or try to fill your milk gauge.
If they attack, you’ll see a bar appear. You need to time your defense. Landing on red means you take no damage, yellow means less damage, and black means full damage.
If they try to fill your milk gauge, you’ll see a scene. To stop this, you need to click the left mouse button many times. If your milk gauge gets completely full during this, you lose instantly.
Tip: You lose 50% of your money when you are defeated in the toy warehouse/dungeon.
Massage
Massaging is a special action you can do with certain characters. It helps improve your relationship with them. When you massage, you see a bar like the one in combat. You need to time your actions on this bar. Your skill level affects how easy or hard this is. If you land on yellow, your relationship goes up by 5. If you land on red, it goes up by 10.
Right now, you can massage these characters: Raury, Alyssa, Dolly, Linda, Dani, Dolores, Manjula, Merc, Lizzie, Mariola, and Luigiana.

Healing
You can heal yourself in two ways: using items or interacting with Raggedy Ann. Raggedy Ann is found on Stages 2 and 3 in both dungeons. When you interact with her, you get a special scene and your health is fully restored. You can do this multiple times. The other way to heal is by using items like milk, big milk, or lemonade. These can be used both in and out of combat, but they heal more when used during combat.
There are also other one-time use items called consumables. These can affect you or change things in combat.
- Milk – Heals 1 HP out of combat, 15 HP in combat.
- Big Milk – Heals 5 HP out of combat, 35 HP in combat.
- Lemonade – Heals 15 HP in/out of combat.
- Pepperoni Pizza – Heals full HP.
- Pineapple Pizza – Resets the milk gouge.
- Mint Pizza – Deals damage (50) to the enemy.
- Rope – Allows you to escape from the dungeon.
- Map – Reveals all the rooms and locations on the current floor it is used in.
*You can only have 1 pizza in your inventory at a time i.e. If you have a Pepperoni Pizza in your bag you cannot buy another pizza.
Weapons
Your basic attack (Punch) does 5 damage normally, and 10 damage for a critical hit. You can buy better weapons like a Baseball Bat or Water Gun from Alyssa or Merc. These weapons can be made stronger if you have the right parts.
Every time you use a weapon, it loses 10 durability. You can use Fix Kits to repair weapons. A Fix Kit adds 70 durability, and can even make the weapon stronger than it was originally. For example, if you use a Fix Kit on a bat with 80/100 durability, it will end up at 150/100 durability.
- Baseball Bat → LightSaber → LightSword
Weapon | Damage (Base/Crit) | Durability |
Baseball Bat | 7/14 | 100 |
Light Saber | 9/18 | 150 |
Light Sword | 12/24 | 200 |
- Water Gun → Power Gun → Super Gun
Weapon | Damage (Base/Crit) | Durability |
Water Gun | 6/12 | 200 |
Power Gun | 8/16 | 250 |
Super Gun | 10/20 | 300 |
Training & Skills
Your 3 main skills are Strength, Intellect, and Dexterity that can be leveled up to a max of 10. Each skill is leveled by training with its respective trainer that takes 1 token to level up until you reach level 5, at which point it will take 2 tokens to level up the respective skill. The three trainers are Galina (found in the weight room of the gym), Manjula (found in the yoga studio of the gym), and Sue (found in the library).
*Each training session advances time to the next time of the day
Strength (STR)
- Trained by Galina. The higher your STR the bigger the yellow section of the bar. Also, the higher your STR the easier it is to throw off an enemy during their massage attack.
Dexterity (DEX)
- Trained by Manjula. The higher your DEX the bigger the red section of the bar.
Intellect (INT)
- Trained by Sue. The higher your INT the clower the cursor on the bar moves during combat and massage actions.
