How do I get 1,2 and 3 stars for Campaign Battles?
The first star is awarded for successful combat, the second star for no casualties, and the third star for additionally winning the battle in the specified number of turns or less.
What do Hacking and Security do?
Hacking increases the chance to apply debuffs and other effects, and Security increases the chance to resist debuffs and other effects.
Example #1:
- Your unit is attacking an enemy and attempting to inflict a debuff like for example Inferno.
- Your unit has 80 hacking, and the enemy unit has 40 Security. This means that 80 hacking – 40 security = 40% chance to apply the debuff.
- Any chance greater than 100% has no additional effects.
Example #2:
- Hacking is used to INFLICT debuffs on targets if the units Hacking stat is higher than the target’s Security stat.
- Every point of Hacking above the target Security represents a 1% chance to inflict a debuff.
- Any chance greater than 100% has no additional effects.
Where can I find the materials required to improve the skill levels of my units?
To gather these resources you want to complete the Anomalies matching the affinity color of the unit you want to improve.

Anomalies Tips
Thermal Anomaly
Be aware that the Thunderer is stealthed, so you have to deal with the henchmen first, and preferably fast before you can target the boss. Attack patterns that can hit the boss as well as the henchmen, or even attacks that ignore stealth can be very beneficial in this encounter.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Heliodor, Stalwart, Yazid, Hayyan and Crucialis
- Judge, Crucialis, Harvester, Shepherd and Yazid
- Grif, Judge, Sentinel, Los and Yazid
Antimatter Anomaly
The Sunderer will attack up to 2 units of every affinity, meaning that it is beneficial to field a team of a single affinity. Cleansing the bombs, caused by the Sunderer, from your affected units can be very beneficial.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Liberator, Hermes, Warden, Sentinel and Meiying
- Panguan, Grif, Voron, Xcellence and Sustainer
- Los, Hayyan, Madax, Judge and Stalwart
Chemical Anomaly
The Bludgeon deals damage in a big pattern but spreads the damage out among all targets hit. You can either deal with this by fleeting a very durable clump of units, or one that is sturdy enough to buy you enough time to kill the boss fast.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Heliodor, Warden, Sha Xing, Butcher and Shelter
- Sokol, Harvester, Butcher, Hermes and Warden
- Grif, Meiying, Sentinel, Liberator and Anemone
Electric Anomaly
Every other turn the Wall will deal damage to all your units no matter their position based on their current shield value or a percentage of their total HP. The henchmen pose a threat due to being able to skip targets and deal high damage to targets with several buffs.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Nosorog, Salvation, Nemesis, Sefuba and IonScorp
- Ravager, Sentinel, Crucialis, Yazid and Hayyan
- Grif, Xcellence, Sentinel, Panguan and Hayyan
General Colosso Tips
General Colosso will attack all targets “marked” by the henchmen. Managing which units get marked is key to succeeding in this fight. General Colosso deals damage based on their Defense, so lowering the Defense will not only increase the damage you cause but also lower the damage you take. Note that damage over time effects like Corrosion and Inferno will not work against General Colosso!
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Los, Yazid, Hermes, Snapdragon and Warden
- Snapdragon, Warden, Flamel, Judge and Yazid
- Grif, Los, Sentinel, Judge and Madax
Mamma Maglienza Tips
Mamma Maglienza and the henchmen have specific targeting behavior based on how many units are present in any given lane with henchmen targeting the lane with the least units and Mamma targeting the lane with the most units. Mamma Maglienza uses a high-damage DoT together with repair reduction and even “reverse repair” debuffs. Cleansing before repairing is very important in this fight.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Purifier, Butcher, Salvation, Nemesis. Hayyan
- Rys, Purifier, Salvation, Nosorog and Cultivator
- Crocus, Valerian, Salvation, Cultivator and Grif
Eelune Nephula Tips
Eelune Nephula’s attacker henchmen empowered by the supporter pose a great danger in this fight, particularly because they will skip defenders to target more vulnerable units. Deal with them fast and don’t get overwhelmed by Eelunes Corrosion.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Refine, Butcher, Heliodor, Paracelsus and Salvation
- Heliodor, Hayyan, Butcher, Hermes and Warden
- Grif, Meiying, Sentinel, Liberator and Butcher
Fenri Khaliriz Tips
Fenri Khaliriz hits extrmely hard, with rapidly increasing damage output each round, as well as periodically inflicting a DoT that can not be cleansed. Either take out Fenri swiftly or provide enough defense and repair to be able to sustain long enough to take Fenri out in a slower manner.
Here are a few setups that can work:
- Refine, Butcher, Harvester, Yazid and Snapdragon
- Butcher, Hermes, Heliodor, Yazid and Hayyan
- Crocus, Sentinel, Valerian, Yazid and Grif
