Characters and Roles
The game features three distinct character factions: P.U.S, Urbino and Scissors. P.U.S characters are exclusive to the defender side, while Scissors are available only on the attacker side. Urbino characters, however, can be played on both sides. Characters are assigned specific roles by the game based on their abilities, but these roles don’t restrict their playstyle. The key roles are:
Duelist
Duelists are designed to take the fight to the enemy. Their kits often include abilities that help them sustain themselves in combat and creating space. Their primary goal is to take space for their team, whether it’s on the attack or defense. They’re typically the frontline or “entry” players, leading the charge in engagements.
Sentinel
Sentinels specialize in fortifying positions. Their abilities are focused on securing specific areas, making them the ideal defenders of critical locations, whether it’s locking down a bomb site or holding a choke point.
Support
Support characters are great assets to their team. Their kits revolve around providing buffs, healing, or utility that helps the entire team perform better. Their presence enables the team to stay alive and push or defend more effectively.
Initiator
Initiators excel at gathering information and help their team push. Their abilities are designed to reveal enemy positions, set up advantageous fights. An Initiator’s role is crucial in setting the pace for a round, providing the intel and utility needed for their teammates to act with confidence.
Controller
Controllers manipulate the combat area. Their kits revolve around creating obstacles for the enemy, such as blocking vision or applying debilitating debuffs that hinder movement or make them vulnerable. Controllers often play a more tactical role, ensuring that the enemy team is funneled into disadvantageous situations or forced to make poor decisions.
