Guide to Urbino Faction Characters

Fuschia (Duelist)

★★☆☆☆

  • Main Weapon: SCAR-H (Assault Rifle)

Fuchsia’s kit revolves around creating favorable opportunities for winning 1v1 duels and gaining momentum throughout the round.

While she starts slower than most duelists, Fuchsia becomes a relentless force once she absorbs a crystal from an enemy. Her strength lies in playing patiently, waiting for the perfect moment to get the snowball rolling.

While her gun is powerful, try to stay grounded as much as possible rather than hopping around when fighting, as her gun has terrible spread accuracy. With that in mind, you should concentrate on using cover effectively and taking more beneficial angles. Planning your engagements properly will allow you to recognize an opportunity to obtain your first crystal and begin playing more aggressively.

Save her scan for gathering information on opponents nearby when pushing or flanking; it is also especially potent against smoke screens. It can also be utilized to increase movement speed, allowing you to chase down foes or escape. While only you can see scanned foes, it’s critical to share this information with your team. Her ultimate is ideal for going all-in and possibly snowballing the round even faster.

The choice between A2 and A3 may depend on the map and chosen playstyle. A2 is a solid choice for giving yourself a second opportunity, but more experienced players will not allow you to get away with it unless you engage in a fight alongside your teammates and force your opponent into a difficult 50-50 situation. A3 can be quite valuable because it inflicts a severe slow on scanned enemies, making it easier to catch them off-guard and  allowing your team to respond to aggressive rushes. However, her scan range is really small so it is not as effective in maps with wide open spaces.

Baimo (Duelist)

★★★☆☆

  • Main Weapon: M1014 (Shotgun)

Baimo’s kit revolves around catching opponents by surprise while remaining elusive.

The Man. The character who can completely dominate a game in the hands of a skilled player or have little impact if the player is inexperienced. He fully capitalizes on the game’s movement mechanics, often frustrating opponents with his obnoxious kit.

With his strong dueling potential and ability to surprise enemies then escape, he can act independently of his team, which is why many beginner players prefer to play him as a lurker. In spite of that, there is another big strength that lies when coordinating with his team, excelling at flanking and taking quick control of space. Like a mad dog—chase down any vulnerable enemies your team can’t catch. You can move through unexpected places with his dash, possibly catching someone off-guard. Just be careful and remember not to fight too many enemies at once and change your game plan to avoid the enemy team adapting to you, from lurking to playing with your team, whichever works.

Additionally, don’t hesitate to shoot at opponents trying to dodge using Paper Mode—your passive will force them out of it, disabling it if you deal enough damage. Using your Ultimate will allow you to head into enemy formation and maybe pick off an enemy or two when you think they’re vulnerable while being able to get away with it for free. With the right timing, you can shorten your shotgun’s spread by tapping shoulder fire before you shoot to stay mobile without sacrificing accuracy. With the slug upgrade, his playstyle drastically shifts into that of a marksman, so I’d recommend avoiding it unless you want to experiment with a completely different approach.

Pick A2 or A3 depending on your playstyle, A2 is desirable if you want more dueling potential by blinding opponents you dash onto, while A3 is more effective at escaping and confusing the enemy. A3’s clone will always point in the direction you dashed, but you can disorient your enemy by flicking quickly as you dash.

Audrey (Sentinel)

★★★★☆

  • Main Weapon: MG42 (LMG)

Audrey’s kit revolves around overwhelming firepower in her line of sight while offering incredibly strong dueling potential.

She brings the heaviest and most consistent firepower of any character on the roster. While many new players might focus on her mounted turret, thinking that’s her main strength, they often overlook her true power in 1v1 duels—thanks to her Royal Shield.

Typically, players use Audrey to hold down key sightlines with her turret, which is effective. However, as you gain experience, you’ll find that a stationary, mounted Audrey is easier for enemies to counter than one who takes full advantage of movement and versatility. In duels, you’ll want to use ADS most of the time, as her weapon’s spread is wide without it, and ADS is also necessary to fully leverage her Royal Shield. Her shield acts as a separate health bar from her HP, allowing her to trade shots with DMRs and snipers at range without significant risk.

The Royal Shield regenerates fairly quickly, even without upgrades, giving her excellent sustainability in prolonged fights. Play aggressively by leveraging movement and her shield to dominate duels. When using her turret, avoid mounting it directly in front of enemies, as the animation leaves you vulnerable, and they can take you down before you finish setting up. Instead, use off-angles to surprise your opponents, catching them off guard while you’re mounted.

Audrey’s Ultimate is exceptionally powerful, ideal for hitting multiple enemies at once, blowing up enemies hiding behind cover, and denying areas for a short time. The AoE range is significant, and the blast deals substantial damage. It’s effective for clearing space and can be saved for multiple uses later in the round.

Her A1 upgrade lets you continuously fire until your gun overheats or you run out of ammo, giving you a massive advantage in 1v1 situations and allowing you to outlast opponents in a firefight. A3 offers more consistent value than A2, allowing you to be slightly mobile with your turret

Celestia (Support)

★★☆☆☆

  • Main Weapon: FAMAS (Assault Rifle)

Celestia’s kit revolves around restoring armor for her team, ensuring they stay in the fight longer.

Celestia excels at providing consistent armor restoration, which can turn the tide of battle by keeping your teammates alive. Though her weapon may initially seem underestimated by newcomers, it delivers unexpected reliable performance.

Celestia relies on being proactive. Instead of hanging back, she thrives when she actively participates in engagements, either by taking different angles or supporting an entry push. By advancing alongside the entry, you maximize your impact by giving them temporary armor and increasing their effective hit points, maintaining their survivability. Her passive armor regeneration also allows her to handle duels more effectively than one might expect.

Celestia’s active skill requires proper timing to utilize it to its full potential, wait until your teammate is about to head into a fight or during combat before giving them armor as the temporary armor she gives decays really fast. Celestia’s Ultimate is particularly useful for clutch situations, as it can instantly grant armor to a teammate on the brink of death. If you want to provide armor without moving to their location, simply cast it again after activating your Ult. Additionally, you can use your Ultimate strategically by teleporting away when you’re in danger, allowing you to escape or reposition.

Choosing between A2 and A3 should align with your playstyle. A2 is ideal for aggressive tactics, helping maintain pressure and manage aggressive opponents or lurkers, especially effective when paired with the +1 charge upgrade. On the other hand, A3 is better suited for a cautious approach, providing more temporary armor for your team and increasing their maximum armor after getting marked once.

Galatea (Initiator)

★★★★☆

  • Main Weapon: AKM (Assault Rifle)

Galatea’s kit revolves around using clones and teleportation to create better angles, disrupt the enemy, and gather information.

Galatea excels in elusiveness, disruption, and applying pressure, thanks to her swift teleportation that makes it hard for opponents to predict her next move, all while wielding a powerful weapon. A skilled Galatea can relieve pressure on her own team while keeping the enemy team on edge with constant back-and-forth engagements, knowing when to engage and disengage.

Galatea is quite independent, engaging enemies with surprise attacks whether from range or from sudden flanks and retreating as needed, but she performs best when played with her team. She capitalizes on opponents’ focus on her teammates to execute effective flanks. By frequently changing her position and attacking from unexpected angles, she forces the enemy team to stay alert. This constant disruption can lead the enemy to overlook your teammates, creating opportunities for your team to capitalize on.

If you prefer not to engage in mind games, you can simply use her cards to cover distances without being shot at by enemies. Her cards are also a great tool for gathering information for your team, so be sure to place them in exposed areas to maximize the intel you reveal. Keep in mind that her card has a large hitbox, which can cause it to hit edges frequently. Her decoys can block pathways, so be cautious if your teammates need to move through narrow corridors or walls. When using her Ultimate, use it in open spaces where you are committed to a fight. Creativity is her best weapon.

When selecting Awakenings, A2 can be useful for stealthier flanks, punishing the opponents’ lack of attention or to escape and reposition safely while invisible. However, this state limits your ability to fight back, making you vulnerable to skilled players. On the other hand, A3 offers a significant enhancement to your disruption capabilities by allowing you to create a clone when teleporting, thereby increasing the pressure you can apply to your opponents.

Maddelena (Controller)

★★☆☆☆

  • Main Weapon: HK G28 (DMR)

Maddelena’s kit revolves around slowing down enemies and preventing them from accessing paper mode.

Maddelena is a formidable crowd control character, excelling in stopping enemy pushes and denying multiple areas at once with her paint gun. Her DMR, combined with her crowd control abilities, can effectively shut down enemies and disrupt their strategies. Her strong weapon and crowd control capabilities make her a key asset in controlling the combat area.

Maddelena’s gameplay is straightforward yet highly effective. Use her paint to slow down enemies and prevent them from accessing paper mode. Apply paint wherever you see enemies to hinder their movement and force them into unfavorable positions. For instance, painting on ledges can prevent opponents from climbing up, creating additional barriers for them. Her Ultimate ability creates a large field that slows down enemies and disables their paper mode, making it easier for your team to eliminate them. The Ultimate first removes the ability to use paper mode, then further slows down enemies remaining in the field when it bursts.

The Ultimate can be used strategically in various ways: on defense, save it for when the enemy team is fully committed to a push, making it harder for them to escape and allowing your team to capitalize on their position. On offense, deploy it on the site to force the enemy team to retreat, giving your team a chance to prepare for a defensive stand during the retake.

When choosing her Awakening, consider the map layout. A2 is highly effective on maps where you can lay down paint in long, straight lines, maximizing its coverage and impact. A3 is particularly useful for blocking chokepoints or entrances, creating obstacles that can also serve as a makeshift smoke screen. However, be mindful that A3 will burst if an enemy touches it.
