Initial Note: At any point in the steps, it does not matter where other pieces or space end up, as long as you follow each step without undo-ing the previous step.

Step 1

Look at the original picture and mentally assign numbers to each puzzle piece from #1 to #8. The top-left corner is #1, and the bottom-middle is #8. Look at picture below.

Step 2

Keep the first piece in the top left corner. We will not move this piece again.

Step 3

Move the #3 piece at the top-middle spot.

Step 4

Move the #2 piece directly below the #3 piece i.e. in the middle of the puzzle. This is usually very tricky may require you to move quiet some times in bottom two rows.

Step 5

Cycle #3 and #2 pieces so that the first row is complete. i.e. #1 #2 #3

Step 6

Move the #7 piece directly below the #1 piece i.e. at left-middle position.

Step 7

Move the #4 piece directly right of the #7 piece i.e. at middle position. This is the 2nd tricky part of the puzzle, might even need to move around the #7 piece to get this done but at the end make sure that positions of #7 and #4 are as described in Step6 and Step7. And don’t worry, you are home free after this.

Step 8

Repeat the cycle of #7 and #4 so that each of these two pieces is in the correct position. I mean the need for #7 on the bottom left and #4 on the middle left.

Step 9

Cycle rest of the 3 blocks and space to complete the puzzle. You do not need to move any other pieces for this. Puzzle should be complete after this step.
