How to Find Critters

All of these are places I have found and obtained photos myself, plus some extra tidbits thereafter (I may update this list if I find more critters/spots myself).

The stone slope to the right of the bridge from the post office (Butterfly/Moth).

Both stone lamps across from the post office (Bird/Butterfly).

Is The wooden fence posts right in front of Gabe’s place (Bird/Butterfly).

Other Locations

• The wooden fence posts around your farm ((lower and highest places) Bird/Butterfly).
• The trees across from the post office ((middle/high)Butterfly).
• On the trashcan near your mailbox (Bird/Butterfly).
• Electric wiring around town ((especially at the walk at Kibou River) Bird).
• The red railing on the bridge between Takahashi Estate and Hana Gardens (Bird).

Tip

The Critter Cam can be open without time passing, allowing you to sit in critter cam mode and wait for critters to show up. This has worked well for me. Sometimes it can take a while for critters show up, whilst at other times they show up somewhat frequently. I’ve had two birds near each other on Gabe’s shop’s front wooden posts.

Extra

Someone has once mentioned there are other insects, but I’ve yet to see it. I have possibly seen a dragonfly on the stone lamp by the bridge across from the post office, but I’m unsure.

Places people have mentioned finding critters (that I have not yet confirmed for myself):

• Benches (Butterfly).
• Tops of bridges going into town (Bird).
