SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream – How to S Rank

Gameplay Tips for S Rank

To get an S rank, play on normal difficulty. It’s not hard, but it can take time.

A good method is to find the edge of the map and walk along it, ignoring the main objectives (yellow circles on the minimap). Look carefully everywhere as you move along the edge. Pay attention to the minimap too.

To get S rank, you need about 50,000 points. Each boss gives 30,000 points. So aim to get 20,000 points before fighting the boss. Do this by defeating all the enemies you can find.

Enemies appear in different areas, including open spaces. Don’t be afraid to explore. If you reach 16,000 points and can’t find more enemies, complete the main objectives to reach 20,000.

Special enemies and computer terminals give you extra tasks for bonus points, which helps speed things up.

Remember to explore the whole map. Look for extra boss monsters, leftover enemies, computer terminals, and treasure chests. Collect everything you can find.

General Combat Tips

Upgrade your Advance Level: This is crucial. Even if you’re very skilled, a player with a higher Advance Level will deal more damage than you if your level is low. Focus on gaining levels early in the game so you can use your skills and deal good damage.

Explore your character’s abilities: Try out everything your character can do. For example, Kirito can do more than just use light attacks. He can:

  • Mix heavy attacks into his combos for different effects and more damage
  • Use air attacks and combos
  • Perform a spinning attack that brings you back to the ground
  • Use charged attacks by holding down light or heavy attack buttons Kirito’s charged attacks are:
  • Light: Snake Bite – a quick double slash that does high damage
  • Heavy: Sonic Leap – a fast attack that closes distance quickly Using these moves at the right times will make you perform better than just using light attacks.

Pay attention to your health:

  • Enemy attacks can do a lot of damage, especially later in missions
  • Losing all your health (going down) is bad for your team’s score
  • Use guarding to reduce damage and dodging to avoid it
  • Perfect timing on guards and dodges gives extra benefits
  • Avoid damage when possible because healing items are limited

Remember, these tips will help you play better and help your team get better rewards.
