Sword of Convallaria – Quick Combat Tips

Combat Tips for New Players

Deploying Characters

Before the battle begins, press and hold the characters you want to deploy, then drag them into position.

Info Panel

During battles, tap on your character to view their details in the info panel located at the bottom left corner. You can also tap on an enemy character to see their details.

Understanding each character’s traits and skills can help you strategize better in battle.

Actions & Attacks

Range Indicators: Tap the range indicator button on the left to view the movement and attack ranges of both your characters and enemies.

  • Blue Range The area where the selected character can move.
  • Red Range The area where the selected character can attack.
  • Yellow Range The area where a skill can be used to attack, causing AoE.
  • Purple Range The area where the selected character can be attacked. Red lines indicate which enemies can target your characters.

Turn Order

Tap the button on the left to view the current turn order.

Standby

If an enemy is too far to attack, you can choose to standby and proceed to the next turn.

Overlapping Positions

When a character’s movement overlaps with a scene object, you can long press and drag to place the character behind the object.

You can also doubletap the overlapping position to select the desired target location.

Classes & Counters

When deploying characters, you can see their class type in the top left corner of their icon in the character bar below.

Class Counters

Each class has a specific counter. The class counter will be visible during attack confirmation.

Units deal more DMG against countered classes.

Skills & Energy

Using skills consumes NRG. NRG can be gained by standing by, attacking, or being attacked.

Each character can perform a normal attack or use a skill once per turn (except for certain skills). After using a skill, there will be a cooldown period. During the cooldown, the skill cannot be used again when the character acts.
