Tales of Angels – Comprehensive Talent Guide

Talents and Sigil Skills: In-Depth Guide

By AtLyss.

Upon reaching level 75, a player will gain access to talents. This is a very important tool used to not only boost BP but also dominate in PvP and PvE alike when used correctly.

Now… Something I am going to preface is this is more of a guide on talents rather than sigils, however, they do go hand in hand. I will explain that part shortly!

Chances are, when you reach that level 75 milestone, you will be confused as you are introduced to yet another mechanic for gaining that juicy power. You also may be asking yourself where you obtain these “talents.” So let’s get into it!

What we are going to do first is visit the T-stone shop. All you have to do is click on shop and navigate all the way to the right. It’s the very last tab in the shop. Here is where you will obtain your T-stones (AKA your talents). Immediately you may have noticed that some are more expensive than others. This is due to each talent’s rarity. You may have also noticed they use a different currency than anything you may have used thus far (unless you have reforged your sigils). This is called sigil material. Do not reroll sigils. You will burn through all your mats!

If you have saved your materials properly, you should be sitting anywhere from 30k-60k sigil material. This all depends on how fast you reached level 75. You will get about two free rerolls every day in the T-stone shop. This being said, it isn’t generally viable nor advised that you wait for these every day. You get 20 refreshes a day when using that precious sigil material, but it is worth it. When grinding for T-stones, you are going to want to try to focus on one maybe two T-stones at a time. Due to how expensive they are to max out, if you focus more than one or two at a time, you won’t be able to really upgrade the ones you want to use. This is of course up to the player, but as a PvP focused player, one at a time has worked for me.

Something to note: When you use a T-stone on a character, you can pull it off and you will be refunded all the materials you used, T-stones included, but it does cost diamonds so keep that in mind when doing your build planning. Moving on.

I am going to use Lotus for this next example:

  • As you can see, she has an open talent slot as indicated by the red circle. Your Maidens have to be 6 stars in order to unlock the first talent slot. The next one will open when they reach 11 stars.
  • If you have been keeping up this far, give yourself a pat on the back. If you’ve been following along with the “maths,” you may already realize you can have a total of 6 skills.
  • This gives you an enormous advantage against anyone who doesn’t have this unlocked or hasn’t put the time into building their Maidens properly.
  • This means 2 sigils with 2 skills each and 2 T-stones/talents with 2 more skills on top of that. It is very important to note that two skills of the same type can not stack.
  • If you have say two p-combos, it will pick the skill that has the highest level. If they are the same level, then it will only count as one. If one of your p-combos is level 2 and one is level 3, then it will only count the level 3 one.

Why is this important? Because you do not want to miss out on a skill slot. Rendering one useless will put you at a significant disadvantage. Now for the nitty gritty.

In order to put a talent on your Maidens, you will have to buy one of those aforementioned T-stones and equip it on your maiden.

When you hit “comprehend,” you’re in business! But how do we level them up? Each tier has their requirements and there are 4 tiers of talents.

As you can see, to upgrade a talent from tier 1 to tier 2, it’s going to cost you 3 duplicate T-stones and 10k sigil material. To upgrade from tier 2 to tier 3, it’s going to cost you double that.

And finally, if you want to upgrade your talent from tier 3 to tier 4, it’s going to cost you 10 more T-stone duplicates and yet another new currency. Before we talk about Talent Shards, do you see how expensive this can get? For this specific case, that is 2500 sigil material per pursuit T-stone.

Tier 1 costs 2500. Then to upgrade it to tier 2, it costs 7500 for the T-stones and 10k to upgrade. From tier 2 to tier 3, that’s 10,500 in just T-stones and another 20k to upgrade. And the 4th tier? 20,500 sigil material in T-stones alone… This, my friends, is why it’s good to focus one or two at a time if you want to get the most out of those talents!

Currently there are two ways of obtaining talent shards:

  • (1) Through the Endless Temptation shop (located in the outskirts under “Infinite Charm”)
  • (2) By visiting the hall shop – you get the currency by being in the inner hall within Goddess Clash

All you have to do is navigate to Outskirts>Challenge>Goddess Clash>Inner Hall, then click on any spot that’s open closest to the top to maximize this currency.

That’s about as comprehensive as it gets for T-stones. I hope you’ve found this guide useful, and if you have, please upvote this post as it helps me out a ton! If you guys would like build guides in the future, let me know in the comments! Before I go, as promised, here are a few ways you can get yourself a bit of extra sigil material.
