Break them with an ice cold beer.

• Freeze them.
• Get them drunk.

This way they will only be able to perform 1 or 2 moves each turn, which prevents them generating skills, so they can only do damage with spikes or moves. Can’t do much against spikes- grab the healing staff or something similar to recover- but drunk makes moves deal zero damage with Flaw. You’ve now made sure they can only deal damage with 1/4 of their options, and even then you can mitigate the 4th.

• Get frozen bloodline.
• Get ‘deals freeze on concealed weapon attacks’.
• Get ‘heal X vigor each turn’- usually plum blossom weapon I think? Am drunk myself, so unsure.

Use Frozen immortal- also, Mechanic, to steal shit and get more money to improve your build.

Get drunken immortal so you’re not similarly fucked up by drink/ KO’ed by the booze.

At that point, just get the drinking immortal skills and the frozone skills and split them 2/3/1, 2 drinking skills (you want the one that inflicts drunk stacks on you both based on vigor, and the one that gives you additional moves based on your drunk stacks), the 3 frozen sword moves (increase stacks of cold, double stacks of cold, and whichever looks good for the third- again, I am drinking and forgot my own inner kungfu), and of course, chi wave, since you can just steal everything to increase your chi.

Determined immortal increases your Hp damage negation and is an excellent way to mitigate spike users, use toxin bug for a while to grind up vigor, dragonform is good if you have the beastblood karma and just leave all the animals save for the martens and snakes in a pen, go crazy and make sure you check out youtube guides and the like on how to maximize your meridian network.

Just make sure to find yourself a hot wife/husband, have a baby, then if you’re a man cut off that babymaker and join the city to make some serious money for your family so you gain access to the True Method. That plus Primordial Chaos make a massive difference in what you have available.
