Tiny Glade – Steam Deck Guide

Steam Deck Settings Guide

By Zander.

Important Notes: These settings are not official and configuration settings will likely change when the developer optimizes and configures the game for Steam Deck officially. Bindings in-game will need to be changed in order to make use of controls. Do not use Proton Compatibility mode. The game doesn’t perform well with it.

Optimal Game Video Settings:

  • Display Mode: Borderless
  • Disable V-sync.
  • Render Scaling at 1.0
  • Sharpen at 1.0 (Due to Steam Deck resolution scaling)
  • Framerate: Unlimited

Optional:

  • Depth of field: No
  • UI Icon: 0.6

Controls:

Download ‘Tiny’s Binds’ from the controller settings ‘Community Layouts’ section on your Steam Deck once the game is launched. Change the following bindings in-game, on your Steam Deck virtual keyboard to match the layout settings of the Steam Deck ‘Tiny’s Binds’ profile settings.

  • Rotate: [Left Arrow] [Right Arrow]
  • Zoom in / out: [Up] [Down]
  • Focus or Deselect: [F]

Steam Deck Set Bindings:

Camera controls are used with both joysticks. Mouse controls are used with both trackpads.

  • Zoom In / Zoom Out = Trigger & Shoulder Buttons
  • Focus or Deselect = A
  • Time of Day or Shadow Cast = B
  • Camera Mode =Y
  • Disable Snapping = X
  • Undo / Redo = D-Pad Up / D-Pad Down
  • Hide UI (in photo mode) = D-Pad Left
  • Color & Texture Palette = D-Pad Right

All other controls should be bound with the default keys. Check your controller settings profile to see what else is bound where. Remember, you can invert your control stick directions in-game. Enjoy!
