Definitive Guide to Character Attributes
Overview
There are a total of 5 attributes in the game: Strength, Skill, Speed, Psyche, and Wit.
The countering relationships are Strength > Skill > Speed > Strength, while Psyche and Wit counter each other.
Effects of Attribute Countering
When dealing damage with a countered attribute, damage is increased, and the target receives 1 Weak point. If the opponent counters your attribute, damage dealt will be reduced.
When a target’s Weak points reach their limit, they enter a Weak effect, rendering them unable to act.
Strategic Use of Attribute Countering
Attribute countering not only increases damage but also brings a powerful Weak effect, usually causing enemies to be unable to act. This mechanism can be cleverly utilized to prevent enemies from acting multiple times, thereby avoiding damage.
Recommended Characters by Attribute
Using countered attributes in instance can maximize damage, so it’s essential to train strong characters for each attribute.
For Speed, it is recommended to train Ken Kaneki [Awaken]; for Strength, focus on Toka Kirishima [Blazewing] and Kohtaro Amon [Twinblades]; for Skill, train Hinami Fueguchi [Fledgling Butterfly] and Rize Kamishiro [Binge Eater]. For Psyche and Wit, the only available character at launch is Matasaka Kamishiro [Shachi] from the VIP reward pack, a very strong single-target damage dealer.
In the future, more powerful characters for each attribute will appear, such as the Speed attribute character Uta [Mask-Maker], a strong support character that can enhance the skill levels of all teammates. For Strength, there’s Ayato Kirishima [Wings of Power-seeker], a strong AOE character that prevents all enemies from healing while dealing massive damage. For Technique, there’s Juzo Suzuya [CCG Maverick], a powerful AOE character capable of continuous actions to deal damage.
