Breakdown of Heroes’ Combat Attributes
By SaRaB.
Before we dive in Let’s understand the following note about Flat Values (Stats).
Note: An Example of a Flat Value is the Hero’s Attack power, or HP for example: 10500 Attack, Usually all the calculations are applied to it in different ways.
The notable 3 flat Stats currently are Attack, HP, Defense! Let’s explain them first!
- Hero Attack: The main source of power found in multiple sources such as gears, or through leveling heroes, without it no Damage can be dealt! It is a flat Value.
- Hero HP: The main Life source of heroes, it is the main defensive stat, however some heroes utilize it by using a % of it’s total to deal Damage through their skills, such as Rose or Tide caller.
- Hero Defense: It is a flat value that is countered by the enemy Defense break, the remaining value then gets converted into Damage reduction at a specific ratio.
- Critical Rate: A % chance to deal a Critical strike, amplifying the damage dealt through auto attacks and skills including ultimates when it triggers.
- Critical Resistance: A defensive stat that takes each Critical strike, and counter it individually for a chance to turn it into a normal strike again.
- Critical Damage: The % of damage added to an auto attack or skill when a Critical strike successfully applied and passed through the critical resistance.
- Dodge: Defensive mechanism that grants % Chance to completely Evade a hit or skill, taking 0 damage in that instance.
- Hit: An offensive mean to counter Dodge, if it is higher than Dodge on the enemies’ heroes that means the Enemy’s heroes won’t have any chance to avoid your damage.
- Block: Defensive mechanism that allows your hero to block a strike, When a strike is blocked, 50% of its damage is reduced.
- Block Break: An Offensive mean to counter Block, works similar to Hit.
- Damage: Multiplier to the Attack attribute, and it can be found on multiple sources, it also has multiple forms, such as Normal hit damage or Skill damage, each applies where it should.
- Damage Reduction: Opposite to damage, but similar in concept! For example Skill damage reduction reduce the damage taken from a skill hit by %.
- Hero Healing Rate: Increases the healing given by a healer to it’s target.
- Hero Healing Received: Amplifies the healing heroes receives from all sources.
Hope this short read is useful and will help to clear the confusion about the mentioned attributes!
