Train Sim World 5 – How to Enable AFB on BR 146.2 and Vectron

Guide to to Enable AFB on BR 146.2 and Vectron

The switch for the 146.2, as for all the TRAXX’s is under the table, on the left side. You need to get out of the seat and crouch down to see it.

For railpool vectron on the left screen on the bottom there is a speedometer symbol, so press the respective button underneath it to enable it. For the DB and flixtrain vectrons it will be on the right screen, and for the flixtrain one you need to press one of the numbers first, I think it’s 5? If not just click through all of them looking for the Speedo symbol.

As said above on the 146.2, as well as all 182 and 185 variants, the AFB is enabled via a switch on the left side of the desk, effectively underneath the control lever.

On the Railpool and DB Vectrons, the AFB is enabled by a little speed dial looking button at the bottom of one of its displays, I can’t recall if this is the case for the DB one but on the Railpool one it’s on the left monitor. The Flixtrain units seem to have a different system likely due to having many of their alternative running modes removed. Their AFB is activated on the right side display, contained within one of the other menu options. Explore around and you’ll find it.

Here is the 146, my mouse is hovering over it.

Railpool vectron.

DB vectron.

Flixtrain vectron you need to press 6 (quick bar) first then the afb dial shows up at 1.
