Vampire Survivors – How to Unlock Brauner (Ode to Castlevania DLC)

Unlocking Secret Character: Brauner

• Kill paintings with Blood Astronomia.

Nathan, one weapon slot, Blood Astronomia and Silent Old Sanctuary. Noodle around for 20 minutes grabbing passives (BA’s base damage scales off amount, so keep an eye out for a duplicator as well as spinach), evolve his Sonic Dash, then go to town in the art gallery. The red constellations you spawn should be hitting for about 600 or so, which is easily enough to sit there and murder waves of paintings!

The paintings spawn at 24-25 and 26-29 minutes (that break at the 25 mark is for Malphas to conduct his scheduled inspection of the gallery). The exact amount you need to kill isn’t currently known, but it’s not that many. One run’s worth should be enough! I had a Skull O’Maniac on me at the time, just for safety, but it’s (probably) not necessary.

And while you’re at it, you can run out into the lake to unlock the Ferryman, because Nathan is made of pure speed.
