60+ FPS Stable for Less than 5$ [Lossless Scaling Guide]
Disclaimer
I’m trying to get the players like me or you a better experience for the game (and other games too) by using a legit app on Steam called Lossless Scaling that uses AI to generate fake frames from the GPU, I’m not trying to get any revenue for this post or app, this is NOT and ad and the app is NOT mine, just a friendly post to help others.
How-To
I played Wayfinder for a while now, and the problem that I have is not the game, its my GTX 1650s, so I started researching for a thing called “scaling” like, FSR, DLSS and stuff like that, but I get a bit more fps and loose a LOT of quality. Not so long I found a thing called “FSR 3” that has a feature that caught my attention; AI frame generation.
Sadly only a few games has that and only on RTX cards and some devs made paid mods to have it in any GPU… Until Now!
For less than 5 dollars (in my country is at 3.50 USD) you can generate DOUBLE of your framerate in ANY game by using your GPU’s AI capability, here’s the steps:
- We need to disable every other monitor, except the one that we’re going to play the game, if your monitor has “G-Sync or amd’s variant” please turn it off.
- Purchase the app and install it, the app is legit and well reviewed on the Steam page, so don’t be afraid of malware.
- Now we need to configure everything like the post image shows, i know it’s in Spanish but you’re smart enough to figure it out.
- Most Important Steps > Game needs to be on Window Mode, then set your game to -HALF FPS- of your -TARGET FPS- (ex. if you want 60fps then set in-game fps cap to 30fps so the app will have a solid fps base to work with), and disable motion blur and film grain IF POSSIBLE.
- Go to the app and press the “Scale” button on top right, then return to the game and there you go!
Happy gaming!
