Wuthering Waves – Double-Form Havoc Main DPS Camellya Pull & Build Guide

Pull & Build Guide to Camellya

By WW Echoes

Camellya makes her rate-up debut in the first-half banner, with 4-star characters Danjin, Yangyang, and Aalto available in the same pool. Camellya first appeared back in V1.0, where we had a friendly duel, and she revealed her identity as the Black Shores “Bloom Bearer”. Now that this “Bloom Bearer” is playable, let’s take a deep dive into her strengths and whether she’s worth pulling!

Quick Pull Guide

Camellya’s Role & Advantages

Camellya, with her Havoc attribute, shines as a main DPS for on-field combat.

Why is Camellya worth considering?

  • Easy to Play: Camellya is beginner-friendly with simple mechanics. After casting Intro Skill, you fill the Concerto Energy, cast her enhanced Resonance Skill to enter a buffed state, then fill Concerto and switch out. Basic Attack’s spinning attacks easily trigger Parry. This provides an ideal combat experience.
  • Dual Forms & Efficient in Single-Taget and AoE: Camellya has two forms—her Sword form excels in single-target, and her vine form (Blossom Mode) is powerful in AoE. This flexibility lets her adapt easily.
  • High DMG Scaling: In her empowered state, Camellya’s skills gain high multipliers, boosting her damage significantly.
  • Self-Buffs: She provides solid self-buffs in Basic Attack, Havoc DMG, Crit. DMG, and ATK, making her overall DMG output strong.
  • Interrupt Resistance: Her Basic Attack and Basic Attack Vining Waltz provide good interrupt resistance based on her skill branch. This helps her avoid being launched up/interrupted, maintains her combos and improves combat flow.

Core Mechanics

Dual-Form Attacks

  • Form 1: Standard Basic Attacks with Sword.
  • Form 2: When casting Resonance Skill, she goes mid-air, switches to a Vining Waltz spinning attacks that are considered Basic Attack DMG.
  • Switching Forms: Pressing the Resonance Skill while it isn’t highlighted will toggle between Forms 1 and 2. Pressing Space in Form 2 reverts to Form 1.
  • Special Energy: [Crimson Pistil]
  • Cap: 100 points
  • How to Gain: After Intro Skill, cast enhanced Resonance Skill – Ephemeral.
  • Effect: Increases Resonance Energy regen, restores Concerto Energy, and stacks [Crimson Bud].

Enhanced Resonance Skill – Ephemeral.

  • Activation: When Concerto Energy is full and the Resonance Skill is highlighted. Tap to cast.
  • Cooldown: 25s, shown in the buff bar, and the skill cannot be activated again until the cooldown ends.
  • Effect: Enters an empowered state, significantly boosting skill DMG without altering playstyle. During this state, [Crimson Buds] cannot be stacked, and most skills won’t regenerate Resonance Energy. The state ends when you switch characters or deplete

[Crimson Pistil].

  • [Crimson Bud]
  • Cap: 10 stacks.
  • Effect: Casting [Ephemeral] clears all [Crimson Buds], with each stack granting an additional
DMG multiplier boost during the empowered state. Aim to reach 10 stacks before casting Ephemeral for maximum impact.

Ideal Role

  • Single-Boss Battles: In Form 1, Camellya’s Sword excels at single-target DMG, making her highly effective against bosses.
  • AoE Scenarios: In Form 2, her mid-air Vining Waltz attack excels in AoE, making her shine in multi-enemy scenarios.

Pull Advice

How to Build Resonance Chain?

Camellya’s core Resonance Chains are S1, 2, 3, and 6:

  • S1: Boosts Crit. DMG, adds Anti-Interrupt to Ephemeral, enhancing her DMG potential. S2: Greatly boosts Forte Circuit DMG. S3: Increases ultimate DMG and ATK in empowered state.
  • S6: Dramatically increases DMG, regenerates Forte Gauge, and grants Anti-Interrupt.

For F2P players, S0 works fine, while players with resources should aim for S2/3, providing the best value. For die-hard fans, S6 is ideal.

Should You Pull Signature Weapon?

Camellya’s signature weapon [Red Spring] boosts Crit. Rate, ATK, and Basic Attack DMG, perfectly complementing her playstyle. Prioritize pulling her signature weapon before S1 if resources are limited.

Why Camellya is Ideal for Beginners

As a limited 5-star main DPS, Camellya is a great pick for new players needing a strong main DPS.

Camellya’s low skill requirement means new players can quickly master her.

Camellya’s versatile role makes her compatible with characters like Danjin (4-star character from the same banner) or Sanhua (free login reward) as her Support and Baizhi (free reward) or Verina (selectable 5-star) as her survival slot, making her very beginner-friendly.

4-Star Character Review From the Same Banner

Danjin: A Havoc sub-DPS. Increases Havoc DMG for teammates, highly compatible with Camellya and Havoc Rover-based teams. Recommended.

Yangyang: Aero sub-DPS. Has crowd control and restores Resonance Energy for teammates, very versatile. Recommended.

Aalto: Aero sub-DPS. Boosts Aero DMG for teammates, great for Aero main DPS. Recommended for players with Jiyan but without Mortefi.
