X-Angels – Guide to Basics

Quick Guide

When you start the game, pick Felicity as your character. Choose Viola as the angel for the first stage.

Felicity is good for new players. Her cards are easy to understand and very strong.

Viola’s cards are also simple, except for her “Information” ability. She has many cards that let you draw more cards and make them cost less. This makes her a great support for Felicity.

Felicity gets angel power when she gains Explosiveness and does 25 or more damage in one turn. She gets energy faster than the other angels. You can use her skills to build up power, or save energy and switch to Viola for big damage. She is very flexible.

Card Selection

I call this deck “Heavy Wound Replenishment”. It doesn’t need much skill to use and helps new players learn the game. The cards work well together and can easily beat the game if used right.

The main cards are:

Liver Attack – A very powerful card. Our pink-haired character starts with a Bonding Token.

Panties – Gives a stable burst of power early on. Works well with Liver Attack for high damage.

Heavy Wound – Brings a big damage boost in the middle and late game. It’s our main card, so pick 3 copies or so.

Candy Box – A special card that gives you two new cards when used. You discard one when you use the other.

Sweet Drink – The main card we use from Candy Box. Replenishment is easy to get in the game. Power is very strong and valuable. Using Candy Box with Replenishment gives great results. It’s the main combo of this deck.

Hairpin Storm – Our main burst card. It hits up to six times. We can use the power from Candy Box or the pink-haired character’s skills. With Heavy Wound, it can deal hundreds of points of damage.

Other helper cards are:

• Special cards from Viola and the pink-haired character at Bonding Level 6
• Draw cards to get more cards, then use Viola’s skill to make them cost less for a strong burst
• Thousands of Pieces for good damage, Weakness, and Heavy Wound
• Low cost cards for overall damage and Heavy Wound against tough monsters late in the game
• Iron Curtain as our main defense, used to kill in one shot

Keep your deck around 30 cards and make your main cards stronger. Don’t be afraid to sell cards for money.

Bonding Tokens and Gene Fusion

For Bonding Tokens, choose ones with permanent effects like +15 HP or +1 ATK. Viola’s mask and the pink-haired character’s dumbbell throw are also good.

For Gene Fusion, remember that a card’s cost goes up by 1 the third time you fuse it. This can ruin a key card. Fusion effects happen after the original card. Fusing damage genes onto Liver Attack makes them affected by its Heavy Wound for extra damage. You can fuse Replenishment onto Candy Box to get the effect when you cast Juice later. This is a very useful combo.
