First thing first

Stratagem Quality (purple, yellow, red, unpara) ≠ their strength or effectiveness. Red stratagems might not be stronger than yellow ones at all time, and unparalleled strategems might drag you down while a red one might be the key to your problems.

Never use or rely on the Auto Equip button on the stratagem section or you’ll regret it later.

Stratagem does raise your power, but only by a relatively small amount all things considered, but they are hella crucial to you winning in battles. That is also why Nationwide Realm is so difficult: it disables your stratagems.

Finally, stratagems are, all things considered, one of the few “strategies” that this game have to offer, so they are worth the long term investment for.

Let’s first talk about how you obtain stratagems: By the stratagem summon function of course.

• 30 pulls = 1 guaranteed red stratagem.
• 100 pulls = 1 guaranteed unparalleled stratagem of your selection (kind of).

The selection method for the pity unparalleled stratagem is… stupid so it’s always best to wait for the two left and right one to be the one you need before summoning.

At 5 star, a stratagem can be equipped on an Unlimited number of characters, making stratagems a type of horizontal scaling, and can be said to be equal or even surpassing beasts/metallic beasts.

Now, let’s move on to actual tips and guides.

1st priority: Blessing stratagem

• When starting out, this might not be the most appealing stratagem since it’s not about offensive power.
• However, it might as well be the only defensive stratagem you’ll need for quite a long time.
• The offensive and defensive stats of this game does NOT like to grow at the same rate. At all.

In the early game, oneshotting an entire team is quite common, especially with Zhang Liao running all over the place. Therefore, it is best to prevent it from happening too quickly so your own team can respond with an attack of your own, or do other silly nonsense.
