Useful Tips and Tricks for Noobs
Building Who?
There are 6 factions and 5 classes of girls. Each faction has a certain amount of effectiveness against other factions (refer to wiki mainpage for effectiveness) Out of 5 classes, there are only 4 more commonly used classes – Priests for their health, Archers and Rogues for their speed and Mages for their damage output. Knights arent commonly used as they are slow and have low damage output.
As a newcomer, building UR and SSR heroes arent so viable, so we stick to SR and lower girls before getting rarer and better girls. Girls with skills that attack all enemy girls at once are best.
Who to Focus on Early Game
- Thea (R) – Get many duplicates from begineer’s event Thea’s Girlfriends, good damage output against lesser number of enemies (her skill does overall dmg shared among all alive enemies).
- Chi He (SR) – High damge output wtih chance of stun.
- Astoria (SR) – Get some duplicates from begineer’s event Thea’s Girlfriends. High damage output to some enemies and have fast speed.
- Anari (R) – Easy to get and have high damage output.
- Oulen (N) – Easy to get and have high health, able to tank lots of damage due to her passive skill.
- Paula (SR) – Good damage output and have high speed.
The Ideal Team
In the end, your goalcin teambuilding is to have 2 “meatshields” on the frontline to tank the basic attcks from enemies, with damage dealers at the back launching off specials before the enemies.
The frontline usually consists of priests with high health, while the back row usually has a girl with a skill to increase other’s speeds (becca(SSR), lola(SR), marrit(SSR)) together with 3 other hardest hitting girls you have.
How Fights Work and Who to Watch Out For
The main stats in fights are speed, damage and health. Armour basically gives girls more health. The most important is speed, as if speed determines the order that girls(yours and enemies) will attack in. The idea is to get your girls to have enough speed to be faster than your enemies.
Using girls like becca, lola and marrit (marrit not reccomended) helps to speed up the rest of the team, usually giving the rest of the team a chance to attack before the enemy team. Marrit isnt reccomended due to her significantly lower damage output.
Another girl that helps in this aspect is Astarte (UR), slowing down enemy speed which essentially gives your girls a speed boost in the sense that some of your girls will have more speed than the enemies’ lowered speed. At the same time, this makes these girls necessary to watch out for when they are on the enemy team.
The methods to defeat them include having your girls at a higher level, thus being faster than them, or using crowd control skills like stun, freeze, silence and so on (not sure if silence is working yet).
Which Gamemodes to Play
Campaign should be focusses on at least until 4-20, since that would help to unlock features in the game. Arena is usually done just once a day for daily quest due to its low return on investment of arena tickets. Waterfall is also good to do since its the main source of lots of rewards.
Limited time events in the bottom right hand corner of the home page is definitely worth focussing on. I recommend doing x10 pulls at one time as you only use 9 pulls worth of event currency. However, do note that currencies do not carry over from one event to another, so spend everything you can by the end of the event even if you cant collect up to a x10 pull.
Thea’s girlfriend is a must do for beginners as it doesnt rerun as of yet. (we have been getting news of a rerun and another new event but nothing has been released yet). Journey is ok to focus on but i recommend trying for floor 14 thereabouts where you can farm SR shards every season. Pushing too far to dating quests isnt recommended as well since you can only farm 2 floors below your current floor.
The ideal would be to farm journey as you play and once ur team is at least 20 levels higher than the enemy you can consider pushing up one more floor. Do note that journey team building would be slightly different from normal teambuilding since your girls are not auto healed after every fight. There is however a limit to what you can farm in journey.
Oblivion is the best for farming rarer items but isnt the most begineer friendly. The teambuilding idea is similar to journey – 2 healers 3 dps 1 revivier. The ideal team goes along the lines of becca, astarte, astryn, helga, lamia and cheryl/triss. becca astarte astryn should have enough speed to beat kiko (floor by floor stats found in opposing). Becca should be fastest, while other dps speed multiplied bt 1.3 is equal to becca speed (because of becca’s speed boost). the healers should be on the frontline unless they are low health. the reviver should have nust enough levels to not die (kinda just upgrade using scraps left after upgrading the dps and frontline healers).
