What are Dragon Knights?

Dragon knights are a new troop category. They are trained in the Dragonwing Roost, that can be found next to the Dragon Lair in your city. The troops unlock by research done in the Dragonwing roost.

There are two tiers of Dragon Knights:

  • T14 Dragonspell Knight
  • T15 Irondrake Sentinel

What items are needed for Dragon Knights and where can I get them?

There are two items assosiated with the Dragon Knights.

  • Dragon Scale – Used for Dragon Knight Research. You get these from daily quest chests, Trial Shop and various event rewards.
  • Dragon Scroll – Used to train and heal dragon knights. You can get these from barbarian camps, daily quest chests, Trial Shop, Advanced Supply Choice Chest II and III and various event rewards.

Do training and healing buffs work for Dragon Knights?

Population surge talent will reduce the resource consumption, but not the scrolls needed. Training and healing time will be reduced by buffs.

How can I increase my training capacity? Can I use recruitment scrolls?

Recruitment scrolls can not be used for Dragon Knights. The only way to increase the training capacity is through Dragon Knight Training Research, the second tab of the Dragon Knight research.

Do the Dragon Knights affect crit?

If you research Immortal Valor under Dragon Knight Training research, the Dragon Knights are excluded from the 6 troop types counted for crit. If you have not completed this research, they affect your crit.

Do Dragon Knights count like normal troops in quests that require training of troops?

Yes, training dragon knights count for thses quests, and speeds used to training them count for tropp training speed quests.

How can I send more Dragon Knights in my march? I can only send some even though I have many more

Dragon Knight march capacity is decided by research, you can upgrade march capacity in the March tab under Dragon Knight Training research tab. Max capacity is 60k per march.

Will all my dragon knights defend my city if I get attacked?

Only as many as your dragon march capacity allows will defend your city, max 60k.

You can also deploy one march capacity to your wall, by ticking the box for locking dragon knights in garrison under Deploy Dragon Knights. This will lock the amount of dragon knights your in march capacity to your city, up to 60k, so they can’t be sent out with your marches.
